Health

Creating and maintaining the physical health and well being of our citizens is one of the most pervasive challenges of our day. With that in mind, the Frueauff Foundation has long been an advocate for improving access to and raising the quality of health care for our citizens. Our belief in the fundamental right to quality of life for all people drives our continued dedication to support a variety of worthy health-related initiatives.

Hospitals and health agencies have been recipients of Foundation awards since its founding. Equipment, outreach programs, staff positions, screening and education materials are just a few examples of grants given. Health education programs for at-risk children and their parents, support for the critically ill, AIDS/HIV education programs, and nursing scholarships have all received awards in the past decade. Specific institutions and specific programs, rather than national organizations, are usually given priority.
